The school has initiated a project to prepare students for the digital world by providing an online learning platform to develop programming skills and 21st century skills from grade 1 onwards. The school envisions creating our future generation from users of technology to creators of technology.

Dayapuram Digital Fest is a unique event conducted in the school where students develop creative projects using digital technologies and showcase those projects to the public. Young Students from Grade 1 to 10, form a team like a startup company and create digital solutions to problems they identify or create projects or products like games, websites, web/mobile applications, Robotics, animations, documentary etc. They come up with their own ideas and work on that project which will be presented and showcased in the Digital Fest. The best projects will be selected and rewarded. This enhances not only their programming or technological skills of students but also promotes critical thinking, creativity and collaborative learning. In short Digital Fest helps students to be ready with the 21st century skills.

Technology is what drives the World Today and students need to be in tune with the latest developments. Tracking the transformation, Dayapuram is moving ahead with the Digital Season 3 in the Online Mode. The New Normal has collaborated the combinations of Science and Technology, effectively among the common people. Digital Season 3 is an attempt of our students to expose and unfold the strengths in the Digi World. The ‘Pandemic Challenges’ enhanced the Digital Knowledge with the conversion of challenges posed to Opportunities.

Digital Fest which was conducted on 23 November 2022 by joining hands with Cybersquare, London, U.K. The Fest was inaugurated by Mr. Jeyash Puthuparambil, CEO, Zerone Consulting, and students from all grades including KG participated in this event. Dayapuram Residential School is the first school in India to start programming from grade 1 onwards in the year 2017 and has already organized four digital festivals in previous years including two online digital festivals during the pandemic time. In 2022, the school introduced programming to the KG section as well. Students and staff of neighboring schools such as M.E.S Raja Residential School, Spring Valley School, Sree Narayana Vidyalaya & Prestige Public School visited the fest and encouraged our young coders and participants. The event caught the attention of all circles as we received video messages from Mr. Manoj Abraham IPS, Mr. Abdulrahman Abdulla Al Ansari (Qatar), Sheikh Sulthan Bin Saqer Al Nuaimi (U.A.E), Sidharth Siva, Mr.Wasim Yousuf Bhat and Former Principals of Dayapuram Residential School, Mrs. Girija Baiju, Prof. Kuttosa, Dr. Irene Usha, Dr. Seedikkoya.
